After their recent Ofsted inspection, our wonderful Nursery School Hemsley House in Maidstone, Kent has achieved an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ grading. We are proud to share a few highlights from the report to celebrate this special achievement. The inspection report can be read in full here.
We’re passionate about early years education and put a love of learning at the centre of everything we do. Ofsted commended our team in Maidstone for planning their learning “environment exceptionally well, ensuring they match activities and experiences precisely to what children need to learn next.”

Mealtimes are an important part of the day at Hemsley House. The report highlights that children “sit together at lunchtime, sharing food they have helped to prepare, taking turns to use tongs to share out the lunches. They chatter and laugh together clearly enjoying each other's company and that of the staff.”
