We're celebrating an exciting milestone at our Sutton-in-Ashfield nursery, which has officially become The Lindens Nursery School following a major refurbishment.
Previously known as Bright Stars, the nursery's new name was chosen by the team themselves and inspired by the beautiful Linden trees surrounding the setting. The trees have stood alongside the nursery for generations and, as protected landmarks, will remain there for many more to come. They are a symbol of the nursery's strong roots in the local community and have inspired the nursery's new logo too.
Over the past several months, The Lindens has undergone a thoughtful transformation. While remaining open to support children and families throughout, the team worked around phased refurbishment projects that have created brighter, more welcoming spaces for children to learn, play and thrive.
The improvements include two additional rooms, increasing the number of local families the nursery can welcome, alongside new opportunities for team members through internal promotions. Children are already enjoying enhanced environments, including a dedicated covered outdoor space for under-twos and improved free-flow access to the outdoors for preschool children.
For Nursery Manager Joanne Bramwell, the relaunch is about much more than new rooms and resources.
"Choosing our new name was a real team effort. The Linden trees around our nursery are protected, so they will always be here, and that felt right for us. The refurbishment has given us lighter, brighter rooms and the space to welcome even more families into our Lindens family."
The relaunch comes as the nursery celebrates two years as part of the Storal family, making this the perfect moment to reflect on how far it has come and look ahead to what's next.
