Kerry Nettel wins NMT Nursery Practitioner Award

Meet our award-winning practitioner, Kerry!

After a competitive shortlisting process, in September we received the fantastic news that our very own Kerry Nettel, part of our Ashby Team, had been shortlisted for a National NMT Nursery Award. Kerry was named a finalist in the Practitioner of the Year category, which alone was an outstanding recognition of her dedication and hard work.

We are thrilled to announce that, on Saturday 19th November, at the annual awards ceremony, Kerry was revealed the winner in her category, with judges commending her dedication and love of learning! A truly fantastic, and well-deserved achievement.

NMT have said, ‘this award recognizes the outstanding childcare provided by a Nursery [..] Practitioner. The childcare will include warmth, equality, responsibility, safety, fairness and being supportive in all relationships involving the children, parents and organization.’

The ceremony, held in London, marked the 20th anniversary of the awards and saw over 700 industry professionals from across the country congregate to celebrate talent and excellence in the Early Years industry. The Storal team were no exception, and the Ashby and Central Support team came together to cheer on Kerry.
